Ms. Boury Dia, a socio-anthropologist by training, is an expert in One Health approach and gender at the Coordination of the Multisectoral Health Security Programme (PNMSS-OH), attached to the Prime Minister's Office of Senegal. In this capacity, she works on integrating social, community and gender dimensions in epidemic preparedness and response according to a multisectoral approach.
Expertise
Ms. Boury Dia is recognized for her expertise in mobilizing social knowledge and field dynamics in order to promote trust, community adherence and local resilience in the face of emerging health risks.
Current Roles
She is also Secretary General of the Regional Network for Risk Communication and Community Engagement (CREC) of ECOWAS, which she supports in strengthening community participation mechanisms in health emergency contexts.
