Background
Dr Oladele Oluwafemi AYODEJI is a Fellow of West African College of Physicians, a Chief Consultant Public Health Physician with special interest in Infectious Diseases. He is the Head, Infection Control and Research Unit, Federal Medical Centre, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria. He is also the current Head, Community Medicine Department and a member of the Top Management Committee of the Institution.
Leadership
He is a former Head, Clinical Services and a former Member Governing Board of Management of the Institution. He is the Incidence Manager of the Emergency Operation Centre for Lassa fever in the LGA and was the coordinator of COVID-19 Response during the Pandemic.
Research
He is a member of National Lassa Fever Research Consortium and Governing Board Member of Integrate Research Consortium. He is a Clinical investigator involved in several clinical and epidemiological studies. He has co-authored many articles including Lassa fever related ones in both local and international journals.
